BEATS BY YOUTH
Beats By Youth is a Music and Media based workshop we run over a period of 10 weeks with young people aged 14-17. The aim is to give them a chance to develop their musical talents and develop some based understanding about the music business.

During our 10 week project we have documented our journey with some photos of the young people. They are given the opportunity to work in a professional music studio, learn the basics of engineering and music production, home their rap and singing skills and educate them on the base understanding of the music industry.
VIEWS OF YOUNG PEOPLE
Interviews with the young people from the Urban Heard 'Beats By Youth' Project in Birmingham. The aim of the project was to take young people on the police radar and give them a musical platform to share their talents with the world.
